Scalability and Speed of Deployment
Finesmelt™ modules are 50,000tpa output units, and therefore can be produced, deployed and commissioned rapidly. Along with our regional licensed outsource partners IMBS has the capability to deploy plants globally as required.

Operational and Capital Cost Efficiency
The IMBS process allows for the recovery and use of process energy for drying, pre-heating and reduction. This allows the process to be significantly more operational and capital efficient than competing processes.

Product and Feed Flexibility
Finesmelt™ has the ability to process non-traditional input materials. This includes sub 100-micron iron fines and regular thermal coal. This gives IMBS a major production cost advantage.

Environmental Sustainability
Finesmelt's™ ability to recycle iron and coal waste dumps as well as the ability to optimally utilise process generated energy impacts positively on the environment and allows for carbon credit trading.
