John Beachy Head: Director & Chief Executive Officer
John has twenty years general management experience in various industries, including courier services, supply chain services and risk management.

He was a co-founder and director of SMG Management Services (Pty) Ltd which later became a listed entity. Prior to IMBS he was Chairman of Sensormatic SA (Pty) Ltd. John is also a director of Worldwide Mineral Strategists (Pty) Ltd which owns a significant iron oxide resource.

E Steyn de Vos: Business Development Manager (Iron and Steel)
From 1997 to 2002 Steyn was employed by Saldanha Steel, initially as Marketing Manager and then as General manager.

Prior to joining the IMBS team he was with Sappi Tugela Mill as Pulp Mill Manager then with Duferco Steel Processing as General Manager. He has a BSc degree in Metallurgical Engineering (Cum Laude) from the University of Pretoria.

Derek Oldnall: Director & Executive: Design & Manufacturing
Derek has a very strong background in mining that was formed in his employment with Samancor where he spent 10 years involved in various divisions of Base Metal Mining. In 1986 he acquired Thermopower Furnaces (Pty) Ltd and became CEO.

Thermopower Furnaces has been involved in the design, manufacture and deployment of thermal products for 38 years, focusing particularly on the extraction of mineral value using a combination of heat and chemistry.

Paul Yammin: Director & Business Development Manager (Char)
After spending four years at Werksmans completing his articles he became a partner in a commercial law firm which specialises in mergers and acquisitions.

Paul is also a director of Worldwide Mineral Strategists (Pty) Ltd which owns a significant iron oxide resource. Paul has a B Com LLb from the University of Natal.

Simon Willmott: Marketing Manager
After completing his MBA, Simon joined the Chromium Centre in Johannesburg. In this role he worked closely with the International Chromium Development Association and various international stainless steel development associations in promoting the use of chromium and stainless steel globally.

He later joined PPC Lime Limited where he served as General Manager: Marketing, responsible for revenue and contracts. Simon is a non-executive director of a large family-owned business. Simon holds a BSc (Chem), MSc (Met and Matl. Sc) and an MBA from the University of Cape Town.
